Carmen Queroz

Carmen Santoy Queroz, age 92, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2023. She was the precious daughter of the predeceased Andres and Eufrocina. Beloved and devoted wife of the late John Zapata Queroz. Loving and affectionate mother of Carmen, Aida, John (Patty), Jaime (Magda), the late Mario (Petra), Eddie and Linda. Cherished grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 21. Fond and caring sister of Dionicia, Guillermina, Marciana, Herminia and the late Alejandro. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Carmen was a very sweet and kind person, who loved to help others. Her greatest joy was spending time with and being surrounded by all of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Visitation is Friday September 29 from 2PM to 9PM at Sagrada Familia Funeral Home, 4950 West 79th Street, Burbank IL 60459. Funeral mass on Saturday September 30 at 10AM at St Symphorosa, 6135 South Austin Ave, Chicago IL 60638. Interment at St Mary Cemetery, 87th Street and South Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park IL 60805.
