Gregoria Estrada Obituary

Maria Gregoria Estrada, 75, passed away on December 31, 2019 with her grandson by her side.
She is survived by her 8 children, 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was known as Maria, Mom, Grandma and Memma.
She was born in Monterrery, Mexico in 1944. She immigrated to the United States in the early 1970's with her husband Rafael De La Paz and their five children and settled into a small community in Chicago, Illinois. She remarried in 1985 to Guadalupe Estrada of Jalisco, Mexico.
Over the years she built many friendships with people from all walks of life and was very welcoming.
She was a firm believer of the Christian faith, educated herself in pastoral studies and not only taught many how to pray to God but wished for many to be saved so that they may have everlasting life.

She prayed for other people, whether family, neighbors, friends or familial friends.
She had a kind heart, was very generous and always forgiving. She will be missed by all of those who loved and cared for her.
Though her family and friends will miss her dearly here on Earth, she has joined her loved ones in Heaven, but most of all she will be with her biggest love, the Lord Jesus Christ.
