Martha Araceli Velazquez passed away on May 27th, 2022. She was born on April 17th, 1988. She was a resident of Chicago and worked at MacNeal Hospital where she was a compassionate and hard-working medical assistant. She loved watching movies, listening to music, dancing, and spending time with her family. Her interests were sugar skulls, butterflies, and Frida Kahlo’s work. She is survived by her parents Martha E Velazquez and Federico Velazquez; her siblings Federico Velazquez Jr (Elvia Hernandez) and Daniel Velazquez (Vanessa); her nieces Alanie Velazquez, Sofia Velazquez, Hazel I. Andrade; her nephews Anthony Hernandez and Javier Andrade. Her visitation will be held on Friday June 3rd, 2022, at Sagrada Familia Funeral Home at 4950 W. 79th St, Burbank IL 60459 from 2pm-9pm. A mass will be held at St. Bede at 9:30am on Saturday June 4th, the funeral home chapel opens at 8am beforehand. For any questions call the funeral home at 773-565-4171.
