Martin Fernando Rodriguez Obituary

Martin “Tito” Rodriguez
1987 – 2025

Martin “Tito” Rodriguez, beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend, passed away far too soon on August 30, 2025, at the age of 37. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Tito was a bright light whose unforgettable smile left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He was the cherished son of Martin and Maria Guadalupe, and a devoted brother to Christopher, Johnathan, and Jessica. He also shared a special sibling-like bond with his cousin Kimberly, guiding her with the care and wisdom of an older brother. Their shared love of gaming, anime, and Japanese culture created countless joyful memories that will be forever treasured. Tito also found comfort and companionship in his beloved cat, Thomas.

Tito was a loving grandson to Maria Carmen, who was a part of his daily life and whom he adored deeply. He was dearly loved by his uncles Frankie and Jesse, who shared his passion for gaming. He also leaves behind many meaningful memories with his other uncles and aunts, including Frida and Sandra, for whom he worked diligently. They admired not only his dedication and hard work, but also his warmth and kindness as both an employee and a nephew.

Known for his unique gothic style, love of good food, and deep interest in Japanese culture, Tito carried himself with authenticity and quiet strength. He was a gentle soul who avoided conflict, and many knew him as someone they could confide in without judgment.

His aunt Chata and uncle Pocho will always remember his playful spirit, especially the little moments like sharing a Cheeto—now cherished memories that bring both tears and laughter.

His cousin Pochin saw him as a guardian angel avoiding conflicts with his siblings and someone you can confide in and keep your secrets.
