Mary Morgan, nee Gleeson, passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 89. Loving Wife of the late Harold Morgan. Devoted Mother to Deborah (Mark) Essig, Theodore Morgan, Suzanne (Timothy) Ward, Nancy (Martin) Heil, Joseph (Pam) Morgan, Dorothy Monahan, John (Karen) Morgan, and Michael (Cathy) Morgan. Beloved Grandmother of Margaret Essig, Allison (Steven) Schering, Christine (Patrick) Hunter, William Essig, Theresa (fiancé Adam Gonzalez) Ward, Mary Eileen Ward, Martin (Lauren) Heil, Matthew Heil, Mark Morgan, Melanie Morgan, Kevin Morgan, George Monahan, John Morgan Jr., Ryan Morgan, Michael Morgan, Jack Morgan, and Emily Morgan. Proud Great-Grandmother of (+) Grace Schering, William Schering, Cole Hunter, and Hannah Heil. Dearest Daughter of the late Joseph Gleeson and Clara, nee Voight, Gleeson. Beloved Sister of the late Patricia (Frank) Reynolds, Norita Gleeson, Joseph Gleeson, Ellen (James) Schnuckel, and Alice (Greg) Parker. Wonderful Aunt to many. Mary was a proud Registered Nurse for nearly 70 years.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 8:30a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Martyrs Church of St. Gianna Mola Parish, 10233 S. Central Park Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL, 60805. Funeral Mass to directly follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
