Sara Lily Galindo peacefully passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by the love of her family and carried by the faith that guided her throughout her life.
Sara was a loving daughter to Joseph Medina (+) and Frances (Raymond) Morales (+). She was the devoted and cherished wife of Francisco J. Galindo Sr., for 57 beautiful years, together building a life centered around faith, family, love, and compassion.
She was a proud and loving mother to Francisco Jr. (Nadine) Galindo, Ofelia (David) Lee, Alfonso (Carrie) Galindo, and Lily (Rigoberto +) Saldana. Her children were the pride of her life, and she loved them unconditionally through every season of life.
Sara was a deeply cherished grandmother to Francisco “Frankie,” Justina, Anthony, Jocelyn, Zelina, Jacob, Alexander, Cassandra, Raina, Gabriela, Angelo, Ashlyn, Charlie, Araceli, Nayeli, Andrea, Mariana, and Liliana. She also found immense joy in being a great-grandmother to Gianna, Georgia, and Daisie.
Sara was known for her unwavering faith in God, her endless prayers for those she loved, her strength, kindness, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. She was the kind of mother and grandmother who always put family first, offering comfort, wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love. Her family always knew they could turn to her for prayer, support, and a listening heart.
Though our hearts are broken and the world feels dimmer without her, we take comfort in knowing her love will continue to guide us. Her legacy lives on in the family she loved so fiercely and in the countless lives she touched with her gentle spirit and generous heart.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.”
